Nick Mohammed admits that Ted Lasso has already been “life-changing” for those involved, ahead of filming for Season 4 getting underway.

It has been confirmed that the popular Apple TV+ show will be returning to streaming services around the world in the not too distant future. Title character and writer Jason Sudeikis is back on board and ready to “reboot” an award-winning format.

Lasso is now coaching a women’s team, having previously overseen events at AFC Richmond in the Premier League, meaning that new storylines can be written as fresh faces are welcomed on board.

Mohammed has told the of earning an Emmy nomination for his performance in Ted Lasso: “I was going to get my Covid jab at the Science Museum and I came out of the Tube and my phone started going nuts. It was just surreal. I’d never even been to America before I went to the Emmys. That’s mad, isn’t it?

“The show is a phenomenal thing to be a part of and it’s very odd in this business to be involved in something that’s quite life-changing. I’d never done any dramatic or emotional acting prior, so it was nice to try to do something a little bit unexpected.”
